About the event
Catapult Art Gallery is proud to present Between Form and Light, an exhibition of oil paintings on canvas by Gerónimo Hernández. The artist explores the space between the visible and the imagined. He uses the idea of a fourth dimension as a metaphor for the unseen—a space beyond ordinary perception where imagination, movement, and possibility can take form.
Through abstraction, Hernandez brings geometric structures and organic forms into dialogue, creating a balance between order and spontaneity. Geometric shapes suggest structure and stability, while organic forms introduce movement, transformation, and discovery.
Color and light are central to his work. Hernández uses bright, saturated colors against softer backgrounds to create contrast, depth, and visual rhythm. Between Form and Light reflects Hernandez’s interest in the relationship between structure and fluidity, control and spontaneity, and the tangible and the imagined.
Exhibition Dates: Sep 18-Dec 10 2026
